Event Description
Recognizing the critical role early childhood development plays in shaping a child’s future, we are excited to launch our new program, called Tot Time, aimed at preparing young minds for success. Tot Time is designed to equip children with essential skills. Social skills are honed through interactive activities, fostering cooperation and teamwork. This program also recognizes the significance of physical activity in a child’s development, incorporating age-appropriate exercises and play to promote skills and overall well-being. Additionally, a focus on basic life skills equips children with practical knowledge, ensuring they approach the challenges of every day with confidence. The goal of this new program is to offer a free resource for parents to come with their children to prepare both child and guardian with confidence and competence as they start their educational journey with enthusiasm and readiness.
Tot Time is open to Muhlenberg County youth ages 3 & 4. A parent/guardian must attend Tot Time with their child.
We will meet Thursdays in August beginning August at 10 AM at the Extension Office.
